Privacy Policy
This policy describes what personal information is collected when you visit recipes-for-airfryer.com, why, and what choices you have. The site collects as little as possible: there are no accounts and no forms on the site. In this policy, "we" and "the operator" mean the operator of this site.
Who is responsible
The operator of this site is responsible for the processing described here. If you have questions about your personal information, write to [email protected].
What information is collected, and why
When you visit the site
The site is delivered through Cloudflare. When you open a page, Cloudflare receives technical information such as your IP address, your browser and the page you request. This is necessary to show the site and to protect it from overload and attacks.
Ads (Google AdSense)
The site is free and supported by ads from Google AdSense. For visitors in the European Union and the United Kingdom, Google shows a consent message where you choose whether Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads. Where the law requires consent, nothing is stored for advertising purposes until you agree.
- If you consent, Google may use cookies to tailor ads to your interests and measure how they perform.
- If you do not consent (or where consent is not required and you opt out), only non-personalized ads are shown and no cookies are stored for advertising. Google may still need to process your IP address to deliver the ad and prevent abuse.
You can change your choice at any time through the privacy and cookie settings link that Google displays on the site, or by deleting cookies in your browser. You can also manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings. To learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
The site uses Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which recipes are read, so the editors know what to improve. Analytics loads only after you start using the page. Where the law requires consent (for example for visitors in the EU and UK, through Google's consent message), analytics cookies are stored only if you have agreed. The statistics are not used to identify individual visitors. If you have not consented, Google may receive anonymous, cookieless signals (for example that a page was viewed) that cannot be linked to you.
Visitor statistics without cookies (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
The site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are read and where visitors come from. It works without cookies and without storing anything in your browser, and Cloudflare does not use the data to recognize you across visits or across websites.
When you rate a recipe
You can give a recipe 1 to 5 stars. To keep one person from voting many times, the site stores for 30 days an encrypted code (a hash) calculated from your IP address and the recipe. The IP address itself is not stored, and the code cannot be used to find out who you are. A note that you have voted is also saved in your own browser (localStorage), so your stars are shown the next time you visit.
When you write to the editors
If you send an email, your email address and what you write are used to reply to you. The email is kept as long as needed to answer and follow up on your message, and is then deleted.

Who gets access to the information
Personal information is not sold for money. The information is processed by the service providers used to run the site:
- Cloudflare – hosting, security, visitor statistics without cookies and storage of ratings.
- Google – ads (AdSense) and analytics (Google Analytics).
Both companies may process information in the United States and other countries.
How long information is kept
- The encrypted code for ratings: 30 days.
- Emails to the editors: while the matter is open, then deleted.
- Cookies from Google: according to Google's settings and your choice in the consent message.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. Residents of California and of other US states with privacy laws (for example under the CCPA/CPRA) can:
- ask what personal information is collected about them and receive a copy,
- ask for incorrect information to be corrected,
- ask for information to be deleted,
- opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and
- not be treated differently for using these rights.
Ad personalization through Google can be turned off at Google Ads Settings, and many browsers support the Global Privacy Control signal. Visitors in the EU and UK also have the right to object to processing and to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that has already taken place.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. You may be asked to confirm your request before it is carried out.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and the operator does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA). If you believe a child has sent information, write to the address above and it will be deleted.
Changes
This policy is updated when something changes on the site that affects your personal information. Last updated: October 9, 2026.
